Thai Local Forum 2010 : Local Market Knowledge
College of Local Government Development , King Prajadhipok’s Institute, is organizing Thai Local Forum 2010: Local Market Knowledge aimed at encouraging local governments to foster local inspiration. This forum should provide a platform for exchanging knowledge and experience in local administration among local executives, members of local councils and local officials. The forum will be held on September 9 – 10, 2010, from 8:00 to 16:00, at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC), Bangna.
10 Provinces for Integrated Development of Public Policy
The Office of Promoting Politics of the People, the Parliamentary Academic Support Office and the Office of Political Development and Participation are jointly organizing a project called “10 Provinces for Integrated Development of Public Policy" to drive integrated work of the civil sector on politics of citizens. This will lead to the reinforcement of the civil sector and enhancement of its ability to drive public policy and monitor state power.
Project on promoting and disseminating knowledge and understanding of politics and administration
King Prajadhipok’s Institute, the Thai Parliament and the Ministry of Education are organizing a seminar on “Promoting and disseminating knowledge and understanding of politics and administration in a democratic regime with the king as head of state for school administrators in the Office of Basic Education Commission.”

Research and Development Office, King Prajadhipok’s Institute is organizing funds for thesis project since fiscal year 2000. The purpose of the project is to encourage the creation of knowledge about politics and democratic development. It is also create new researchers in the field.

Brainstorming and Discussion Forum on Pilot Project with the Ministry of Justice
College of Local Government Development, King Prajadhipok’s Institute,organized brainstorming and discussion forum among representatives from the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization, Ratchaburi Provincial Administrative Organization, Samut Prakarn Municipality, the Jawrakey Yai Tambon Administrative Organization, Suphan Buri province and representatives from the Ministry of Justice on August 6, 2010 from 0900 to 1200 at the Rambhai Barni conference room, King Prajadhipok’s Institute. The forum aimed to devise the guidelines for judicial cooperation activities between local administrative organizations in the four pilot areas and the Office of Provincial Justice, Ministry of Justice.

Prof. Dr. Borwornsak joins the opening of the online booth offering best wishes to His Majesty
On August 11, 2010, KPI Secretary General Prof. Dr. Borwornsak Uwanno and assistant Secretary General Mr. Vitavas Chaipakpoom joined a ceremony opening presided over by Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and held on the 2nd floor of Government Complex, an online booth for His Majesty the King. This service was organized by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology to mark the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen, August 12.
